Located on the east side of Sacramento, Rancho Cordova was incorporated in 2003 and is located along Highway 50, bordered by the American River Parkway and Mather Airport. The Rancho Cordova Sports and Event Center offers virtually every indoor sport. There is also the Sacramento Children’s Museum, an imaginative site and educational center for kids to explore, as well as the popular Nimbus Fish Hatchery with a nature trail along the American River.

Rancho Cordova is frequently named one of the region’s best places to work and is home to a plethora of small businesses and several Fortune 500 companies. The area is a hub for trade and private educational institutions, ranging from trucking schools and electrical contracting to computer training and fashion institutes.

Rancho Cordova is part of the Folsom Cordova Unified School District. Cordova High School offers an excellent athletic program with numerous alumni having launched successful careers in professional sports.
